About the role
Join QTC’s Risk Division as a Client Credit & Market Risk Associate, supporting the assessment and management of credit risk across our client lending portfolio and investment counterparties. You’ll contribute to credit analysis, market monitoring and portfolio insights while developing your technical expertise in a collaborative, high-performing team.

What you’ll be doing
- Support credit risk assessments, financial analysis and borrowing recommendations
- Prepare credit papers aligned with QTC’s risk framework and appetite
- Monitor client performance, market conditions and emerging risks
- Maintain and enhance financial models, tools and reporting outputs
- Contribute to covenant setting, credit limit monitoring and portfolio reporting
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support informed risk decisions
- Assist with ongoing improvements to credit processes, systems and reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation to support audit and compliance requirements
About you
- Experience in credit analysis, financial modelling or advisory (3–5 years)
- Strong financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear insights
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in finance, economics, commerce or similar
- CFA or postgraduate qualifications (or working towards) are desirable
