The Client Project Operations team provides governance, operational discipline and delivery support across QTC’s Advisory Division and Queensland Government Consulting Services (QGCS). The team partners closely with project leads and senior sponsors to ensure client projects are wellgoverned, effectively managed and delivered to QTC standards. 
We’re seeking a Client Project Operations - Business Partner to support clientfacing teams by strengthening portfolio discipline, uplifting delivery capability and embedding fitforpurpose governance and ways of working across Advisory and QGCS. 
  
As a Client Project Operations – Business Partner, you will: 
  • Act as a senior advisor to Advisory and QGCS leaders, ensuring projects are governed, compliant and valuefocused 
  • Enable highquality delivery across a portfolio of advisory and consulting engagements 
  • Own and evolve clientfacing project and portfolio frameworks, tools and systems 
  • Provide handson coaching and delivery support to project leads and teams 
  • Drive portfolio reporting, assurance and insights for leadership, Board and ACC reporting 
  • Lead continuous improvement across portfolio operations, frameworks and tools 
  • Drive automation and process optimisation to improve efficiency and accuracy 
  
About you 
You’re a confident delivery and operations leader who thrives at the intersection of governance, commercial delivery and stakeholder engagement. You bring: 
  • Strong experience in project and portfolio management within advisory or consulting environments 
  • A deep understanding of risk, compliance and governance frameworks 
  • The ability to coach, influence and build trust with senior stakeholders and delivery teams 
  • Strong data, reporting and analytical capability to generate actionable insights 
  • A continuous improvement mindset with experience streamlining and scaling delivery practices 
  
Qualifications & experience 
Essential: Tertiary qualification and 5–10 years’ experience across portfolio, risk and delivery 
Desirable: Project management certification and public sector experience
