QTC is seeking a visionary and strategic finance leader to join our Business Services Division as Executive Director Finance. This pivotal role oversees QTC’s finance, procurement and facilities functions, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial governance, and alignment with strategic priorities. 
As a member of the Division’s leadership team, you will work closely with the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team (ELT), providing expert advice and insights that shape QTC’s financial direction and business performance. 
Key Responsibilities 
Strategic Financial Leadership 
  • Shape and deliver QTC’s financial strategy and long-term planning. 
  • Lead budgeting, business planning and performance reporting. 
  • Advise the CEO, ELT and Board on financial matters and present strategic insights. 
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement. 
Financial Operations 
  • Oversee finance functions including budgeting, reporting, compliance and systems. 
  • Lead finance business partnering to support decision-making and performance. 
Procurement & Facilities 
  • Lead procurement strategy and facilities management, including transformation initiatives. 
  • Promote ethical sourcing, commercial value and sustainable asset planning. 
Governance & Risk 
  • Maintain strong internal controls and risk frameworks. 
  • Support governance processes and ensure compliance with fiduciary obligations. 
About You 
You are a seasoned finance executive with a strong track record in strategic leadership, financial operations and stakeholder engagement. You bring deep technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. 
Qualifications & Experience 
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting or a related discipline (essential). 
  • CA, CPA or IPA membership (essential). 
  • Postgraduate qualifications in finance or related field (desirable). 
  • 10+ years’ post-qualification experience in senior finance roles. 
  • Proven experience advising Boards and Executive teams. 
  • Strong understanding of financial risk management, governance and compliance. 
  • Experience in banking and finance highly regarded.
