The Americas Sales Enablement Coach Role

 

Qlik is currently searching for a highly skilled Sales Coach to join their growing Global Sales Enablement team to support their Americas (Latin America and North) Sales Leaders and their teams to improve their sales performance and maximize sales productivity across these regions.

 

As a member of the Sales Coaching team, the Americas Sales Coach will co-develop, maintain, and implement our value-based Sales Disciplines and Sales Methodology. Reporting to the Director of Sales Coaching, the ideal candidate will have a background in B2B sales as a quota-carrying sales professional with extensive experience in Coaching Enablement Services and training on Sales Skills and Sales Methodology.

 

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

  • Provide both team and 1:1 sales coaching and facilitation for extended, direct & indirect, sales teams with and through sales leaders.
  • Work with sales leaders to support:
    • Creation and ongoing reviews of territory, account, and opportunity planning with extended sales teams
    • Coaching of individual and team sales performance to maximize quota achievement.
    • Coaching of Qlik’s Sales Methodology & Sales Disciplines
    • Adoption and use of the Qlik Sales Management System cadence and Sales Leadership coaching
  • Train, facilitate and implement Qlik’s Funnel, Forecasting, Pipeline, Territory, Account and Opportunity planning and review methodologies and tools resulting in effective and repeatable segmentation and targeting of the best markets, accounts & business functions for Qlik sales engagements that:
    • Identify and deliver business value for Qlik’s prospects, customers & partners.
    • Create business & operations relationships with the influential key customer stakeholders & decision makers.
    • Establish Qlik’s competitive advantage early in sales pursuits.
    • Ensure extended team collaboration to develop value propositions that include Qlik’s complete product & services portfolio.
    • Engage Qlik’s complete Partner ecosystem: Tech Partners, System Integrators & Resell, Cosell & OEM Partners
    • Have well-defined plans, goals & strategies for identifying winnable sales opportunities
       
  • Work as a proactive Business Partner to the sales organization providing leadership and subject matter expertise on all aspects of sales planning and execution for sales success by:
    • Creating territory, account and opportunity planning cadence and review cycles
    • Identifying and monitoring strategic account and must-win opportunities.
    • Delivering Qlik Sales Methodology training and workshops across the Region (& other regions if needed)
    • Continuously reviewing and improving the effectiveness of the Sales Excellence programs & enablement services
    • Using and enhancing all Qlik’s sales tools & processes to maximize business results.
    • Engaging with all Qlik’s supporting functions to ensure they are engaged and working with the Sales Coaching team in the field.
    • Ensuring global consistency of all the Sales Coaching teams engagements across all the sales regions
    • Contributing as a member of the Sales Coaching team in delivering proven best practices to the business
    • Collaborating with the Global Sales Enablement team to identify necessary priority net new or enhanced training programs that are successfully implemented
       
  • Reports and measures on ongoing coaching services’ impact through KPIs / metrics as well as provide recommendations for further adoption, reinforcement, and sustainment initiatives to ensure maximum ROI of coaching practice initiatives and achieve key organizational and sales desired outcomes.

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience in a quota-carrying role, preferably in the SaaS technology industry, supporting sales teams in a variety of core enablement capacities (i.e. coaching leaders and sales professionals, sales skills, sales methodology, sales process)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior or current certifications in at least one sales methodology or opportunity qualification framework (e.g. Miller Heiman [Korn Ferry], MEDDIC, Sandler, etc.), or experience deploying sales methodologies and delivering associated skills training.
  • Experience of cross-functional collaboration between Global Sales Enablement and Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance, and HR partners
  • Evidence of using and driving a value-based sales process to win business.
  • Great facilitation & coaching skills
  • Confident public speaking
  • Teamwork and collaboration behaviors with extended teams
  • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proof of accountability, ownership, and meeting commitments
  • Focus on results and execution of tasks/projects.
  • Ability to earn credibility with sales professionals and leaders quickly as a value-add partner to sales success.
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen
  • Significant experience in a Data Analytics & Data Integration SaaS environment
  • Strong experience of delivering value-based sales methodology training to sales professionals and sales leaders
  • Capability to work well autonomously as well as in a team environment.
  • Proven background in facilitating leadership and sales training as well as coaching to drive key reinforcement and adoption of  a sales methodology
  • Effective communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is preferred to support Americas region
