The Senior Director, HR (Culture & Talent) Business Partner Role

As our Senior Director, HR (Culture & Talent) Business Partner, you will drive transformative HR strategies across EMEA, aligning global initiatives with regional needs to foster growth, innovation, and a thriving employee culture.

 

As a People Manager, you will report directly to the Chief People Officer and lead the EMEA CTBP team while collaborating closely with senior leaders to develop scalable organizational models, champion talent development, and create impactful solutions that drive both business growth and employee success worldwide.

  • People Leader:  Provide strategic mentorship and coaching to the EMEA CTBP Team, ensuring the team has the support and guidance needed to drive impactful results across the region.

  • Enhancing Workplace Culture: Promote an open, values-driven environment that encourages communication, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Optimizing Rewards Programs: Collaborate on competitive and compliant reward strategies that align with Qlik’s global compensation goals.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics to identify trends, measure success, and implement best practices that drive HR excellence.
  • Empowering Leadership: Guide and mentor senior leaders to navigate business challenges and foster a people-first approach to decision-making.

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • Bachelor equivalent mandatory.
  • Master or MBA equivalent would be advantageous.
  • Seasoned HR professional with 15+ years leading diverse global teams with a proven track record in delivery best in class HR in the software industry.
  • Experience in a matrix structured, global company is essential, as is the globally inclusive mindset.
  • Excellent knowledge/expertise in organizational design and effectiveness.
  • Track record in architecting and driving change and transformation in business. Experience of driving growth organically and through acquisition.
  • Good technical HR competence across all disciplines with emphasis on organization design and talent management, emphasis around successfully coaching leaders.
  • Appetite for learning new technology while championing analytics adoption within the team.
  • Strong employment law understanding of respective markets.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels, strong communications skills and ability to navigate and influence across key stakeholders in the matrix.
  • Results driven and focused on execution against plan.
  • Innovative thinker and able to drive creative ideas and embed them in the business.
  • Strong commercial awareness, financial business acumen.
  • Strategic and analytic thinking skills but ability to drive operational excellence at both Global and Regional levels in tandem.
  • Process driven mindset, planning/organizational capability and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong change management skills, ability to architect and drive transformation programs and lead teams through those programs effectively.
  • Experience/Knowledge of Works Councils
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to lead, motivate, coach, mentor and develop capability.
  • Very customer focused – able to drive customer success and delight stakeholders.
  • High energy and resilient. Strong initiative and able to operate independently to a high level.
  • Highly versatile and adaptable.
  • Travel 10% of the time may be required
