The Senior SEO Manager Role

 

We seek a dynamic and highly-skilled Senior SEO manager to join our team at Qlik. 

As a Senior SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to drive organic traffic and improve our online presence. This includes managing on-page SEO and off-page SEO activities, optimizing keywords and phrases, link building, LLM and AI knowledge base analyses, and analyzing web analytics data.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

  • Conduct thorough keyword research, SEO analysis, and LLM research to identify relevant target keywords, phrases, and prompts. 
  • Develop and execute effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility and SERP rankings, and LLM representation. 
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, headers and URLs to ensure alignment with target keywords and enhance search engine and LLM crawlability. 
  • Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with the web development team to implement solutions for improved website performance and user experience. 
  • Conduct SEO audits, competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement and stay ahead of competitors in search rankings. 
  • Establish SEO baselines and KPIs 
  • Track and analyze website traffic, user behavior and conversion rates to assess the effectiveness of SEO strategies, make data-driven recommendations, and be able to execute pivots as necessary 
  • Stay abreast of emerging SEO trends and technologies, exploring innovative approaches to enhance our SEO efforts further.  

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing or a related field. 
  • Relevant SEO certifications (such from Google, HubSpot and/or Semrush). 
  • 6+ years of experience as an SEO manager or a similar SEO-focused role. 
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms and digital marketing trends, with a strong understanding of the Indian search landscape. 
  • Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools like Google Search Console, Lighthouse, SEMrush, aHrefs Google Keyword Planner and Google Analytics. 
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, local SEO and SEO reporting tools. 
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website optimization platforms, like VWO, contently, and/or WordPress. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Basic understanding of website design, development, HTML/CSS coding, Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising and link-building strategies. 
  • Knowledge of technical SEO, including speed optimization for web and mobile. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. 
  • Familiarity with social media marketing and its impact on SEO. 
  • Experience with SEO testing and experimentation. 
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles. 
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple SEO initiatives simultaneously

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $ 125,360.00 USD MIN – $ 135,000.00 USD MAX per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
