The Senior SRE Role

Acquired through the Talend integration, the Talend Management Console (TMC) plays a core role in Qlik's Data Integration offerings.

Join a Qlik team responsible for operating a mission-critical SaaS Data Integration application in production as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).

Your foundational contributions will empower global R&D teams to deliver highly scalable, efficient, observable, and resilient micro-services, supporting mission-critical Data and Analytics use cases for thousands of high-profile customers worldwide. As part of our technological evolution, your work will shape the growth and success of our cloud ecosystem.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

• Guarantee high availability: Deliver a production SLA of 99.9% to 99.95% uptime through proactive initiatives.
• Champion reliability and scalability: Lead projects that enhance the application's ability to handle increasing demands while maintaining performance.
• Implement robust monitoring: Develop effective alerts, dashboards, playbooks, and runbooks to ensure swift issue identification and resolution.
• Operate a critical-mission product: Drive seamless product operations, including data and service migrations, and service updates, minimizing disruption or downtime.
• Collaborative Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable services.
• Continuous Delivery: Maintain a robust CI/CD pipeline and engineer creative solutions to enhance deployment efficiency.
• DevOps / SRE culture: Develop and advocate for cloud-based optimization strategies and best practices.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (e.g., information technology, software engineering).
• Proven experience working with containerization technologies like Docker containers and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (including experience with Helm, Flux, Traefik, Gloo, and AKS/EKS).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other IaaS/PaaS providers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in high availability environments (targetting SLA of 99.5% or higher) is a plus.
• Strong ownership and initiative, with the ability to proactively identify and tackle technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.

France, Suresnes or Nantes (Hybrid/Remote)
