The Manager Media Operations Role
Are you passionate about driving operational efficiency and collaboration in digital media? As a Media Operations Manager, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing processes, enhancing governance, and improving coordination between Qlik’s internal teams (Media, Content, Web, and Field Marketing). You’ll also oversee agency partnerships and drive best practices that ensure smooth execution of paid media campaigns.
This role requires strong cross-functional leadership, attention to process efficiency, and expertise in media operations to help scale and streamline Qlik’s global media function.

- Optimize agency partnerships, improve workflows, billing processes, and overall efficiency.
- Drive compliance, brand safety, and operational reporting, ensuring Qlik’s media investments are well-managed and impactful.
- Influence key marketing initiatives without direct authority by creating structure and alignment across teams.
Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
Cross-Functional Leadership & Process Optimization
- Facilitate seamless collaboration between Qlik’s internal teams (Media, Content, Web, and Field Marketing)
- Develop and maintain media briefing processes, documentation, and reporting frameworks.
- Drive operational efficiency through standardized workflows, best practices, and governance models.
- Improve speed-to-market by streamlining approvals, financial processes, and cross-team coordination.
Agency Management & Governance
- Optimize agency relationships through structured governance and clear service-level agreements.
- Oversee SOW management, PO processing, and billing procedures to ensure financial compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement in agency collaboration and deliverable quality.
Media Operations & Quality Assurance
- Develop processes for media planning, execution, and reporting to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Lead brand safety protocols, governance frameworks, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, financial procedures, and media best practices.
We’re looking for a teammate with:
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in media operations, digital marketing, or marketing operations.
- Experience in B2B tech/SaaS environments preferred.
- Proven ability to build and implement operational processes across cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing agency relationships, including contracts, POs, and billing.
- Strong understanding of digital media platforms, brand safety requirements, and governance frameworks.
- Excellent project management and process improvement skills.
- Experience with media finance fundamentals (POs, MSAs, invoicing).
Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required)
- Familiarity with Google Marketing Platform (Campaign Manager, DV360).
- Knowledge of social media advertising platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, Twitter/X).
- Experience in agency-side media operations.
- Background in establishing media governance and brand safety protocols.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum).

US-East Coast Remote

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $ 108,960.00 USD MIN – $136,190.00 USD MAX per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
