Senior Technical Account Manager – Pre-Sales

The Pre-Sales Organization at Qlik is a key interface to our customers and prospects working in tandem with all other Qlik departments, including Sales, BDR, Customer Success,  Consulting, R&D and Support.  In this role, you will leverage these relationships in order to support overall sales efforts to drive revenue in net new accounts and expand our presence in the territory's existing customer base.

 


How you will spend your time as our next Technical Account Manager

As a Technical Account Manager, you will be a key part of the core account team. In addition to Sales and Customer Success Management, you maintain the strongest relationship with our strategic key accounts, you accompany and advise our customers on strategic decisions and lead the technical evaluation of our solutions. You are an enormously important link between business, IT, customers, and sales and mediate in an enormously fast growing and agile environment.

As a trusted advisor, you are a welcome expert in your field, share your knowledge in the form of lectures and presentations nationally and internationally, and together with your team you form the technical spearhead of our sales organization.

 

What you can expect from your working day

You can look forward to an enormously varied job. Between technical meetings with our product management, exciting workshops with our customers and the planning and execution of marketing events, you will

  • Act as a trusted/strategic advisor to each customer helping to drive continued value of our products and services, while you provide thoughtful leadership, possibly challenging business, and technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Sales to uncover and support new sales opportunities throughout the deal cycle
  • Perform product presentations, POCs (Proof of Concept) and RfP processes within the prospect or customer environment.
  • Act as project leader for complex architecture evaluations with virtual teams of client and colleagues.
  • prepare and present emerging technology topics in relation to our offering

 

What will help you to be successful

Experience in working with large international clients

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Prior experience working in Pre-Sales, Customer Success or as Technical Account Manager
  • Experience in project management, especially in SaaS, PaaS and Cloud environments
  • A good grasp and a broad IT knowledge
  • Experience in business intelligence and data management
  • German and English on business level

  • Experience with data warehouses or data lakes
  • Experience with AI and machine learning
  • Broad knowledge of AWS, Azure and GCP
