The Software Engineer Role

Join us in shaping the future of cloud services at Qlik! We're on the lookout for a talented engineer to be a key part of our App Placement and Reload team. As we accelerate towards building Qlik's next-generation cloud-native architecture, you'll play a crucial role in driving the development of some of our Go Services, as well as our common Go library powering essential services across all teams.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience in Go and NodeJS, and a strong willingness to learn quickly on new tech!
• Cloud Expertise: Experience with containerization and deployment on Linux using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborative Mindset: Passionate about problem-solving, with a reputation for getting things done and a strong sense of ownership.
• Continuous Learning: Desire to learn and grow, contributing to open-source projects and embracing best practices.
• Effective Communication: Ability to build relationships and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $120,000 CAD  - $140,000 CAD. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package, eligibility requirements for benefits will be controlled by applicable Qlik plan documents and policies.
