The Culture and Talent Business Partner Role, APAC

 

As a Culture and Talent Business Partner (CTBP), your primary responsibility will be to align our C&T strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success and with a focus on Talent Development. You will act as a consultant to business leaders and employees in the region in collaboration with the C&T COEs providing expertise in various HR functions such as employee relations, performance management and talent management. The CTBP plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work culture, building and supporting Talent Development initiatives and promoting employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

 

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

Business Partnering: (Singapore)

 

  • Contribute as a valued member of the APAC Culture & Talent team to ensure that Qlik’s Mission and Vision is delivered to support achievement of the overall business strategy and maintain the essence of Qlik.
  • Identify medium/long term business challenges/needs and translate them into commercially focused HR solutions which support the delivery of the business’ strategy. Understand the growth cycle of the business to be able to develop and embed strategies to enable growth/change successfully
  • Promote and nurture a positive and open working environment that supports the values and provide the tools and framework that encourage open and effective employee communications.
  • Fully utilize the analytics tools available to gain insight, drive performance and transform our business using data and best practice knowledge to ensure we remain informed, competitive and at the forefront of our market from a human perspective.

Talent Development: (APAC)

  • Partner with TD Team, business leaders and your C&T team in region to identify, develop and evolve Talent Management programs and processes, including L&D, OD, Talent Reviews, and Succession Planning.
  • Define and track talent management metrics to measure and improve the effectiveness of programs
  • Coach, advise, and mentor individuals on career development and self-insight tools.
  • Deliver workshops and information sessions and facilitate meetings, as requested.
  • Support employee engagement and listening activities for the region.
  • Leveraging data to understand talent needs and working with appropriate stakeholders to address them.
  • Driving awareness and adoption of our Talent Development, Performance Management, and Organization Development solutions across the region.

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • Bachelor equivalent preferred
  • HR professional with 6+ years collaborating with diverse teams with a proven track record in delivery best in class HR in the software industry.
  • 2-3 years of direct experience with Talent Management, Succession Planning, Development, Assessments and Coaching preferred.
  • Professional certifications desired but not required - (Myers-Briggs, Clifton Strengths, Coaching, CPLP, ODCP, etc.)
  • Experience in a matrix structured, global company is essential, as is a globally inclusive mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including public speaking and facilitation skills
  • Strong employment law understanding of respective markets.
  • Travel as required.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels, strong communications skills and ability to navigate and influence across key stakeholders in the matrix.
  • Strategic and analytic thinking skills
  • Process driven mindset, planning/organizational capability and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong initiative and able to operate independently.
  • Highly versatile, resilient, adaptable and flexible
  • This position is an individual contributor role and reports directly into the Sr Director/Head of Culture & Talent for APAC.
