Senior Web Analytics Manager

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Provide reporting and analysis to monitor and optimize corporate web site and act as web analytics subject matter expert for company
  • Provide analysis to for data-driven optimizations for
  • Run analysis on key trends to identify priority areas for optimization of buyer journey
  • Define and track KPIs.  Create reports and dashboards to analyze performance from traffic to conversion through to leads and pipeline
  • Manage A/B and multivariate testing
  • Prepare regular updates for executives and stakeholder groups
  • Assist in the development of web forecasts from responses through to pipeline
  • Act as web analytics expert for Qlik
  • Help internal stakeholders understand and analyze web marketing data
  • Provide guidance to other website owners on web analytics.
  • Stay abreast of the latest analytics techniques
  • Create and execute a roadmap to advance our web analytics capabilities
  • Drive tagging strategy and work with teams to execute. Manage Google Analytics website tagging and tracking through Google Tag Manager. 
  • Work closely with the BI team to ingest key data into Qlik BI environment and development of analytics dashboards
  • Work with marketing ops, product, IT and BI teams to improve end-to-end processes impacting data quality and analysis



Competencies and skills:

The skills and qualifications required for this role:

  • BA/BS and 8+ years of web analytics experience.  Knowledge of other digital channels and multi-channel analysis desirable.
  • Strong business and marketing acumen combined with superior analytical and data skills.  Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in enterprise B:B high-tech. B:C analytics experience a plus.
  • Understanding of lead processes through to pipeline and data from marketing automation platform (e.g., Marketo) and SFA (Salesforce preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of leveraging web analytics platforms (including Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.) including instrumentation strategy
  • Proven experience building test plans that continuously improve buyer journey and lead generation initiatives
  • Experience with BI visualization tools highly desirable
  • Ability to do data analysis using SQL is a plus
  • Some experience with HTML and basic Java scripting a plus
  • Self-starter and ability to work effectively with geographically dispersed team
  • Strong communication skills, articulating complex analyses in simple terms
  • Proven experience building test plans that continuously improve buyer journey and lead generation initiatives
  • Experience with BI visualization tools highly desirable
  • Ability to do data analysis using SQL is a plus
