The Senior Software Engineer Role
Join us as a Senior Software Engineer in a newly formed diverse team consisting of experienced members in a global context.
In this role within the Product Telemetry Services & Data team at Qlik, you'll play a pivotal part in developing services to manage, collect the product usage data and providing it to our customers, unlocking insights of the product inside the product. Providing customers with access to their own usage data unlocks new business value and lays the foundation for future business opportunities. The team owns and maintains 5 services and is currently developing 2 new services to create a state-of-the-art data pipeline.
In this team, you'll engage in the complete software development life cycle, contributing to requirements analysis, implementing new features, and ensuring high-quality releases. Your work will be deployed to cloud environments, influencing the very core of Qlik’s product offerings.

- Design and Develop telemetry solutions: Participate in designing, developing, and maintaining a suite of services with a focus on product usage telemetry, actively influencing the foundation of bringing it to our customers.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with a diverse, international team of software developers, data engineers, data analysts and domain experts to create efficient solutions that that build on the latest technologies.
- Diverse technologies: Dive into the exciting variety the team works in, develop services in Go and python, manage infrastructure with the use of Kubernetes, helm, terraform and solve problems from data creation to consumption.

- Develop new functionality to our customers: Contribute to creating transparency around product usage data by addressing various use cases, first and foremost build it, secondly augment.
- Evaluate New Technologies: Apply your expertise to identify and evaluate new technologies, ensuring the performance, maintainability, and reliability of our services.
- Embrace Best Practices: Implement software engineering best practices, from CI/CD and automation to monitoring and security.
- Build our next generation data pipeline: built on the latest technologies, currently in development.
We’re looking for a teammate with:
- Experience in Software development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles, building production-quality software in large-scale data, distributed environments and streaming data technologies.
- Proficiency in Go or Python and SQL along with experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes/Helm/Terraform) and Cloud providers (AWS).
- A passion for staying ahead of the curve with the latest tech developments within the software engineering field, streaming and managing data (Iceberg)

Lund, Sweden (Hybrid Remote)
