Software Test Automation Engineer role:

 

You will join the GeoAnalytics & Mobile team which develops state of the art visualizations and geographic features analytics capabilities in Qlik Sense and native Mobile application.

You will join Qlik as a Software Test Automation Engineer, with focus and Mobile where you will be an integral part of our R&D team.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

We are primarily a full-stack team and looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer with focus on Mobile. You will work tightly with highly engaged co-workers in your team with a lot of responsibility and influence. We take pride in testing and quality.
 

Strategic Testing: Review market requirements, functional specifications, and detailed design documents to derive comprehensive test objectives, ensuring the quality of our products. 

  

Automated Testing: Design and implement automated test scenarios, execute automated test suites, and analyze results to enhance testing efficiency. 

  

Manual Testing: Design and execute manual test cases as needed, aligning with test objectives, and contributing to a robust testing framework. 

  

Framework Contribution: Contribute to the maintenance and further development of the test automation framework, ensuring its effectiveness and relevance. 

  

System Maintenance: Bootstrap, configure, populate, and maintain test systems with third-party data sources for both automated and manual testing purposes. 

 

We’re looking for a teammate with the following experience:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • At least 3years of experience in Mobile Testing
  • Experience in native apps in Android and iOS. 
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • An immensely curious and collaborative team player who wants to learn and grow, and put their hand in the air for projects and share new ideas
  • 2-3 or more years of test automation experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in ensuring product quality.
  • Experience using scripting languages, particularly JavaScript, to create testing tools and automation.
  • Ability to analyze functional test plans, deriving thorough, optimal, and complete automation objectives.
  • Ability to understand the technical design of the automation framework and formulate innovative ideas for its extension.
  • Some experience using Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Microsoft Azure is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills as the company language is English.
  • Leverage your ability to create valuable relationships
