The Principal Customer Success Manager Role

As a Principal Customer Success Manager at Qlik, you’ll forge impactful, long-term relationships with our customers, helping them unlock the full potential of our data and analytics solutions. This strategic role places you at the center of their journey, where you’ll guide customers to achieve their business and technical goals, ensuring their success with Qlik’s innovative products.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

  • Driving success: Develop actionable Customer Success Plans that align product functionality and services with customer business objectives.
  • Proactively mitigating risks: Identify potential churn risks and collaborate with internal teams to address challenges before they arise.
  • Leading strategic reviews: Conduct Executive Business Reviews to ensure alignment with customer goals and progress toward measurable outcomes.
  • Supporting customer growth: Partner with Sales and Presales teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities that expand the value of Qlik’s solutions.
  • Coordinating cross-functional efforts: Work closely with Professional Services, Customer Success Engineers, and Renewal Managers to deliver a cohesive and high-value customer journey.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

  • Extensive experience: 7+ years in a customer-facing role, ideally in Data Integration or Analytics, managing complex portfolios with $10M+ in revenue.
  • Relationship-building skills: A proactive and digital-savvy approach to maintaining strong, lasting customer partnerships.
  • Organizational expertise: Proven ability to manage multiple large accounts while keeping a keen eye on the details.
  • Adaptability: Comfort thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills: Strong verbal, written, and presentation abilities that engage and inspire.
  • A leadership mindset: A unifying, collaborative style that motivates cross-functional teams to meet evolving customer needs.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $100,000 – $122,000 USD per year. This position is eligible for a commission within a range of $40,000 - $52,000 USD subject to meeting targets set forth in a sales compensation plan. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
