The DevOps Developer Role

Join our dynamic Platform Engineering team as a DevOps Developer, where you'll play a vital role in developing a platform for R&D on Kubernetes and AWS. Your focus will be on creating a ‘production-like’ environment to enable rapid development, testing, and deployment of new features and fixes.

You'll also be responsible for managing and maintaining the strategic Qlik SaaS service pipeline flow and services, automating the service release process, and deploying Docker images into staging and production environments.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

• Enhance CI/CD Solutions: Develop robust CI/CD solutions for our SaaS product within an AWS environment, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
• Maintain Development Environments: Create and maintain a comprehensive 'production-like' environment for service development and QA teams, facilitating efficient testing and deployment.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with development and SRE teams to provide stable deployment solutions, contributing to the overall stability and performance of our services.
• Support and Expertise: Act as a development toolset expert within the R&D organization, solving production problems efficiently and professionally, thereby driving innovation and excellence.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with the AWS Cloud environment
• Knowledge of the GitOps methodology and SaaS processes
• General programming skills in languages like Typescript, java, GO or equivalent, using json and yaml.
• Experience developing and managing CI/CD processes
• Experience with process automation and scripting
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent, and relevant work experience in the field.
