Role Summary:

Pure Industrial is seeking an experienced finance professional who will be reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”). The Associate Manager will have a material impact on the success of the Finance team with a particular focus on the ownership of multiple periodic reporting processes, ad-hoc analysis and process improvement.

The ideal applicant will be a self-starter, responsible and a confident individual who possesses excellent time management & organization skills, a strong sense of ownership and be comfortable with ambiguity. They will be a strong team player and embrace the opportunities to “roll up their sleeves” and “think outside the box”. Superior verbal and written communication skills are essential as the candidate will work directly with Senior Management, our Investors, and members from our Finance, Investments, Asset Management, Property Management and Leasing teams on various strategic initiatives.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead various reporting processes and liaise with all departments to deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages including creating analyses and presentations to Senior Management and Investors.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing variances on KPIs.
  • Develop, own and improve financial models and analysis to support key decision making, strategic initiatives/special projects.
  • Drive continuous improvements and automations in processes and reporting, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancements.
  • Lead the team’s core deliverables include monthly & quarterly financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting cycles, the quarterly Board report and liquidity analysis models

 

 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Senior Analyst (or equivalent level) within an FP&A or accounting role.
  • Self-learner and self-starter, able to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • CPA designation, MBA or other related designations are strongly preferred.
  • Superior proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and in particular, PowerPoint and Excel.

Strong skills and experience in:

  • Creating and managing large complex financial models with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Analytical and critical thinking with experience summarizing large amounts of data to provide data-driven insights.
  • Organization and project management with the capacity and willingness to manage multiple deliverables, while also balancing time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Effective communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills and ability to foster effective working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Maintaining a high attention to detail, while also having the ability to identify high-level trends and frame the storyline.

Although not required, experience and skills in the following would be preferred:

  • Experience with Power Automate, Power BI, VBA, other coding languages and their application in process improvement.
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager and in the commercial real estate industry.
