General Maintenance Operator

Description

Role Summary:

Under the supervision and instructions from leads of operations you will be responsible to carry out daily responsibilities and tasks in the GTA region. 

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Various painting responsibilities, interior & exterior.
  • Caulking repairs.
  • Door repairs and adjustments.
  • Fluorescent Lightning & light lens replacements.
  • Various plumbing repairs and new installs.
  • Drywall patching.
  • Repairs/replacement of floor coverings (carpet/tile)
  • Carpet removal.
  • Minor demolition of Gyproc walls.
  • Various clean ups.
  • Minor Industrial overhead doors P.M’s (preventative maintenance).
  • Pothole cold patch filling periodically.
  • Basic weather-stripping installs.
  • Basic daily repairs in small areas as assigned etc.
  • Other tasks may be assigned.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of industrial building maintenance such as, minor electrical, basic mechanical.
  • Self driven with the ability to troubleshoot identify and perform necessary daily repairs.
  • The ability to multitask and work with other as a team.
  • Clear understanding of building materials and it’s functions.
  • Responsible, independent, and resourceful.
  • Valid Ontario class G license

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $60,000 to $70,000/year 
 
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
