The Role:
We are currently seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts, ensuring high-quality software through efficient and reliable testing, while also mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You should have a keen eye for details, excellent communication skills, knowledge of web application interactions, and the know-how to translate those into automated scripts. If you are competent in designing, writing, scripting, and executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for functional, performance, and API testing
- Review automation test cases, and scripts to ensure coverage based on requirements
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues
- Implement advanced standards and best practices for automation testing
- Design & develop reusable components for efficient use of automation testing
- Identify areas where automation can improve quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts and test environments
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure timely fixes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited, four-year university or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in developing high-quality test automation scripts with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, etc.
- Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, etc.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with version control systems (Git or similar)
- Experience using Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with issue-tracking tools (JIRA or similar)
Hours and Location:
- You must be willing and able to work 12-9pm IST
- Note that our Director of QA is in the U.S. but the majority of the QA team is in India
- We offer both hybrid and remote options

Selection Process:
- Online tech pre-screen via CodeSignal, consisting of 10 multiple-choice questions (10 mins)
- Intro phone screen (20 mins, U.S. time zone after 8:30pm IST)
- Initial interview with hiring manager (1 hour, could be conducted in India time zone after 12pm IST)
- Group Panel Interview with QA team (60 mins, could be conducted in India time zone after 12pm IST)
- Final interview with Director of QA (45 mins, U.S. time zone after 8:30pm IST)
