Product Manager, Reporting
PulsePoint has an open position for a Product Manager, Reporting. PulsePoint is looking for a Product Manager to work closely with Analytics, Account Management, and Engineering to build and maintain customer-facing reporting functionality. In this role, you will lead the ideation, development, and ongoing management of all of PulsePoint’s reporting capabilities.
At PulsePoint, Product managers have five Primary Responsibilities:
- Innovate and ideate with a constant focus on building new data-driven products that drive a sustained and competitive differentiation for PulsePoint in the market.
- Articulate the vision in a compelling business case
- Translate business strategy into the product roadmap, making critical decisions about what features to build and what order to build them in
- Collaborate and communicate with various technical and business teams to launch seamlessly, collecting feedback from other teams and integrating that feedback back into the roadmap.
- And finally, work with Marketing and Sales to develop compelling positioning, value proposition and selling tools.
An excellent Product Manager at PulsePoint is one that keeps in mind the long-term vision of the product while driving short-term results, has the customer intuition to get there, and has the authority/integrity to lead the team along the way – very much a mini CEO when it’s done right.
The Product You'll Be Working On:
LIFE BY PULSEPOINT™, Everything you need to plan, activate, analyze and optimize your digital healthcare advertising campaigns - in one platform. Our proprietary data targeting solutions are the backbone for thousands of healthcare brands seeking instant access to forecast, target, and engage DTC and HCP audiences at scale.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Own, plan, and set the strategic roadmap for the Life reporting and analytics platform.
- Define, track, and report KPIs to all stakeholders.
- Maintain a backlog spanning at least two quarters of estimated stories with detailed requirements
- Lead regular standups and grooming sessions with the Analytics, UX, and Engineering teams
- Coordinate launch and post-launch activities including impact and revenue analysis
- Engage with our customers to learn their business needs, set expectations, and develop comprehensive solutions
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Strong background in big data technologies, predictive analytics, transformation, behavioral modeling, and visualization
- Have a natural tendency to dig into the data, not shy away
- Strong analytical skills (BI), Excel, SQL
- Previous experience as either an analyst, predictive analyst, data scientist, data engineer, etc
- Hands-on knowledge of building analytics or predictive data products from scratch, not just iterating on a UI;
- Comfort with statistical computing such as R, Python, Matlab, etc; a plus
- Plus but not required: programmatic experience
