The Finance and M&A Associate will assist the business development team with all aspects of its acquisition strategy from sourcing to deal completion, and the Company’s leadership with its overall strategic positioning.

The Finance and M&A Associate will work cross-functionally with relevant departments, primarily with the finance and development teams, and will have frequent interactions with executive leadership

Essential Functions

• Perform initial assessment of potential acquisition opportunities, inclusive of financial, valuation, and strategic analyses
• Maintain and update acquisition database and current status of all opportunities
• Assist in the management and organization of diligence process of potential acquisitions
• Participate in weekly business development strategy sessions
• Assist the CEO, CFO, and executive management team with strategic and financial analyses

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong financial modelling skills
• Experience in valuation and corporate finance analysis
• Experience in acquisition diligence processes
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to work across functions
• Strong organization and project management skills (ability to manage multiple projects at once)
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Required Credentials:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Finance or Accounting degree preferred)
• 2 – 4 years of work experience (investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or accounting transaction advisory preferred)
• Healthcare experience preferred but not a requirement
