Hospital Account Manager

The Hospital Account Manager is responsible for developing hospital relationships that promote retention, loyalty and growth. This role should take a proactive approach to driving hospital partnership value and goal achievement. Their job is to work closely with hospitals and operational leadership to ensure the hospitals are satisfied with the services they receive and to improve upon areas of dissatisfaction.


The Hospital Account Manager role entails collaborating with hospitals to ensure that PT Solutions growth initiatives are aligned with growth objectives of the hospital, and that we are able to execute on growth initiatives in the targeted timeframes.


The Hospital Account Manager will clearly articulate to hospital executives the ongoing value of physical therapy both in meeting short and long term goals, for both the patients as well as the hospital system as a whole.




Establishing Hospital Support Practices

Hospital Success Managers are responsible for creating policies and procedures that optimize the hospital partnership experience. Hospital Success Managers may gather feedback from their hospital partners, study other customer success programs and analyze hospital data to identify the best practices. The Hospital Success Manager must establish policies the entire staff can adhere to so all hospitals receive the same quality of service and partnership.

Provide Support for Issue Escalation and Resolution

Hospital Success Managers must know the company’s service lines and partnership structures inside and out. They are often called upon to escalate and facilitate resolution of issues within the relationship. They may even help hospitals plan and understand any necessary initiatives or changes. This role will establish regular touchpoint with hospital executives to review performance and areas of opportunity.

New Business Support

Hospital Success Managers will help facilitate discussion with existing and new hospital partners around expansion and growth opportunities.  They will assist in communication of additional revenue and care delivery enhancements that will result from additional satellites or creative new service line opportunities. This role will be aware of PTS white space expectations and revenue goals related to partnership and regional growth.

PTS Operational Collaboration

Hospital Success Managers will be closely tied to internal operational initiatives driven by the EVP and onsite operational leaders.   They will be aware of internal challenges or opportunities that are being presented to hospital leadership.  They will communicate/connect with correct internal PTS leaders as needed.



  • An undergraduate degree is required, graduate degree in marketing or business preferred
  • Previous experience interacting with Private Equity backed healthcare business is preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, including sales, project management, strategic planning, and implementation of broad initiatives.
  • A track record of success working with and influencing a fast-paced, multi-unit / multi-region organization at all levels.
