Commercial Appliance Service Technician  

Pay: $22-45/hour   

We are looking for a Service technician that is capable of repairing commercial food equipment and appliances such as ovens, dishwashers, fryers, microwave ovens, toasters etc.  Want to get a van to take home and be a company ambassador instead of just another number?  Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years repair experience in commercial appliance repair or one that is similar such as domestic appliance repair or HVAC/R. Applicant must be ready to be put in a truck and sent out to do repair work with minimal training. Applicant can be cross trained from related fields to repair hot side equipment as well as food prep, refrigeration and beverage equipment. Be a decision maker and service Hero to our customers in need.  PLEASE do not respond if you have no experience in this field or a similar field of work  


Job Responsibilities:  

  • Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair Cooking Equipment
  • Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism
  • Complete service calls in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with customers, manager, dispatcher, and sales
  • Participate in normal rotation of after-hours and weekend standby duty
  • Identify new customers and additional opportunities within existing accounts
  • Maintain Service Vehicle
  • Order Parts and Complete Required Paperwork
  • Attend Training Sessions
  • Other Duties as Assigned by the manager

   

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Two years of cooking equipment service (or related military) experience
  • Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
  • Extremely strong customer communication skills
  • 100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organized
  • Maintain a good personal appearance
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
  • Valid Driver’s license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
  • Must be at least 18 yrs of age

   

Desired Characteristics:  

  • Experience with Fryers, Ovens, Steamers, Ranges, Broilers, Ware Wash, etc.
  • Experience with Commercial Cooking Equipment
  • CFESA certification and Factory Training
  • Computer literacy
