Commercial Installer Technician - New Orleans, LA
Description
The Commercial Installer Technician provides customer equipment installation of HVACR and or commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., grills, ovens, fryers, coolers, freezers).

Primary Responsibilities:
- Installs commercial HVACR and kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Design, fabricate, and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required.
- Communicates effectively and professionally with customer(s) regarding repairs and status updates.
- Communicate part order(s) with branch.
- Documents task (parts/work orders, timesheets) accurately and on a timely basis.
- Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with Heritage standards and adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- One to Three years of installation experience of one of the following: commercial kitchen equipment and or HVACR equipment i.e., RTUS, chillers,
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screening is required.
- Valid Driver's License and Driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing background is a plus.
- Contractor, journeyman, and or HVAC certification not required, but would-be a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Working / Environmental Conditions:
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and lift equipment.
- Extensive daily travel to work site location.
- Occasional to frequent exertion in high and low temperature environments (over heated kitchens, rooftops, outdoors, etc.).
- Repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.
- Exposure to electrical, steam, and high heat units that require extreme caution and safety equipment.
