The Technical Service Specialist provides technical expertise and customer support for Provisur products, coordinating repairs, troubleshooting, service calls, installations, and documentation. This customer-facing role partners with customers and internal teams to ensure service needs are met, information is accurate, and issues are resolved efficiently. Travel is required as needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide daily and after-hours technical support to customers and Field Service Technicians (FST's) via phone, email, and on-call rotation.
- Serve as a key customer contact for Provisur service matters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues remotely, ensuring proper escalation and follow-through on challenging service matters.
- Coordinate equipment installations, service schedules, manpower, and Emergency Service Visits in collaboration with customers, FSTs, and internal teams.
- Review service reports, identify outstanding issues, coordinate follow-up, and assist with planning FST travel and assignments.
- Engage Engineering and other technical resources to resolve complex equipment and application issues.
- Manage warranty issues and provide technical support for maintenance agreements and PPP programs.
- Serve as a technical expert on Provisur equipment and advocate for customers when ongoing equipment issues require internal attention.
- Recommend and process spare parts orders to improve equipment uptime and reliability.
- Provide commercial and technical support for assigned customers.
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years of technical service/support experience, preferably in food processing or industrial equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or related apprenticeship preferred.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronics troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows, and Outlook; PeopleSoft/Salesforce experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or related apprenticeship preferred.
- Basic electrical and machine shop experience preferred.

Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
$47.00 - $50.00 per hour
