Our Mechanical Engineer Intern learns basic shop, CAD, machine design and engineering practices and use established procedures to perform basic engineering tasks on small projects or tasks of large projects under the direct supervision of an engineer. They will provide support through performing documentation functions, engineering calculations, data collections and/or analysis, prototyping, testing and assisting in design and detailing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work on Design, Product, Equipment/Tooling, Manufacturing and Computer-Aided Design
  • 1-2 weeks of Machine Assembly
  •  Material Selection/Analysis
  •  Manufacturing, sit in design and share ideas with the team
  •  Process REA’s, writing ECN’s for parts, schematics and BOM’s
What You Won’t Do:
  •  Sit behind a desk all day - you’re involved from concept to the shop floor
  •  Suffer from boredom - you’re always doing and learning new things, with a variety of clients and coworkers around the world
What You’ll Need:
  • Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineers
  • A full-time student in an accredited educational institution
  • Have a technical aptitude, be detail oriented and organized
  • Understand basic mechanical/electrical engineering principles
  • Be an Electrical Engineering student as a riding junior or above with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
