POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Monitor past due accounts receivable balances within the equipment and aftermarket portfolio; follow up with customers to determine when payment can be expected. Develop strong relationships with customers.
- Upload invoices into customer portals on a timely basis and resolve any discrepancies to ensure timely payment.
- Assist with the annual audit as directed.
- Prepare analyses, journal entries, account reconciliation and ad hoc reporting requests as direct by management.
- Accomplish work in an organized, timely manner producing necessary results in spite of unforeseen changes; communicate effectively and alert team members and supervision if deadlines are in jeopardy; maintain high ethical and quality standards; and correct your own errors; and, regularly produce accurate, thorough, professional work.
- Additionally, recommend continuous improvement ideas and assist in implementation as required; take personal responsibility for service excellence, sustainability and safe working practices; and, understand and adhere to our Principles & Values and all company policies and procedures.
JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Adapt quickly to changes in priorities and receptive to additional responsibilities.
- Ability to work with customers on a daily basis.
- Knowledge of the invoicing and collections process.
- Proficient with ERP systems; PeopleSoft experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR TRAINING REQUIREMENT:
- Associates degree or equivalent.
