Our Account Managers lead the sales initiatives in their assigned geographic territory, develop existing and new customers to identify equipment sales opportunities, and work either directly with our customers or with our agents to drive sales. This position covers half of Mexico, Venezuela, Caribbean, Ecuador, and Trinidad Tobago. 

What You Will Do:

  • Travel within the assigned geographic sales territory to follow up on and generate Provisur leads and opportunities with existing customer and prospects, uncover customer/prospect challenges asking the pertinent and right questions to understand the pain, gain customer trust becoming a trusted adviser, demonstrate how Provisur equipment and applications of assigned product line(s) will solve a customer problem presenting it in a customized way and adequate sequence.
  • Strengthen our presence prospecting existing markets and also expend it targeting on alternative markets to expand customer base.
  • Coordinate all functional activities including Sales, Service, Engineering and Product Development as needed to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain calendar, opportunities, accounts, and contacts and create customer visit reports in Salesforce
  • Participate in sales meetings, trades shows. 
  • Organize equipment demonstrations in Provisur pilot plant attending the customers. 
  • Maintain personal sales skill level through company provided material and training as well as personal study and development.

 Who You Are:

  • A person who enjoys interacting with others and likes to build relationships
  • A self-starter and able to work with a team
  • Someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who manages their time well

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Management/Marketing/Engineering or equivalent.
  • Five years of experience selling capital machinery (a plus).
  • Experience selling equipment to the food processing industry (specifically meat) strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to prospect and close sales in a long cycle sales environment using “value selling” techniques at a plant and corporate level.
  • Ability to lead growth initiatives at the customer leveraging our technical and service team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (in English and Spanish) required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills required.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to build relationships.
  • Valid USA visa
  • Valid Driver’s License
