The Senior Export Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing international export shipments from order processing through final delivery. This position ensures that shipments are accurately documented, scheduled, tracked, and compliant with applicable international trade and customs requirements.


What You’ll Do: 
    • Manage the daily export shipment process from order readiness through carrier pickup.
    • Analyze the aftermarket backlog and prioritize shipments to drive backlog reduction, improve order flow, and ensure timely delivery to customers.
    • Prioritize urgent and customer-critical shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
    • Prepare and verify shipping information and export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
    • Coordinate with Order Entry, Warehouse, Export, Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, Aftermarket, and other departments to resolve issues and prevent delays.
    • Monitor daily export reports, open orders, and aging shipments to ensure timely completion.
    • Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, missing parts, damaged shipments, and delivery issues.
    • Assist with freight and export claims as needed.
    • Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation in company systems.
    • Identify recurring issues and help improve export shipping processes and on-time performance.
    • Coordinate pack lists, location reports, and required export paperwork for customer orders.
    • Support worldwide exports, primarily to China, South America, and Canada.
    • Perform filing, record keeping, and other duties as assigned.

    What You’ll Need:  
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • 1–2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
    • Intermediate Excel skills required, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends and priorities
    • Basic knowledge of international shipping and export processes, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation.
    • Basic computer proficiency, including Outlook, and shipping/PeopleSoft systems.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling shipment information and export documentation.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with customers, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines.

    Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
     
    $32.00 - $38.00 per hour.
