The Field Service Supervisor will oversee all service-related activities for Press product line, including technical support, repairs, documentation, troubleshooting, and order processing as needed. This role is responsible for coordinating and assigning daily tasks to Field Service Technicians (FSTs), ensuring efficient execution and high levels of customer satisfaction. The supervisor will also provide hands-on technical guidance and support to the FST team. This position will travel approximately 40% of the time. 

What You’ll Do: 
  • Lead a team of FSTs in all service-related activities for the Press product line, including scheduling, technical support, repairs, documentation, troubleshooting, and order processing.
  • Coordinate and manage equipment installations, assign personnel, and oversee scheduling to ensure efficiency.
  • Supervise FST service visits, review trip reports, follow up on open issues, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Manage and assign FST activities to ensure efficient resolution of service needs, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely documentation of service calls, support visits, machine shipments, installations, and customer invoicing.
  • Address warranty concerns and manage Maintenance Agreements to minimize customer downtime.
  • Ensure service project timelines are maintained, delivering exceptional service outcomes.
  • Promote safety and foster continuous development within the FST team through training initiatives.
  • Supervise multiple field projects while promoting collaboration across manufacturing, assembly, engineering, sales, marketing, and new product development teams.
  • Conduct customer visits to support FSTs, resolve complex technical issues, lead audits and PM inspections, and collaborate with sales to identify commercial opportunities.

What You’ll Need:   
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a technical service environment.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong sense of professionalism and customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
 
$87,000 - $108,00 per year. This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan, based on company and/or individual performance.
