Major Responsibilities: Responsible for the development, security, and operations of company’s cloud-based software development environment. Ensure that requirements integrated into company’s products and Systems are secure and proper controls and security architecture standards are followed. Assist with leading the development and documentation of security architectures and road maps. Responsible for . Perform network analysis to identify deficiencies and present recommendations for stabilization to client. Perform system and network hardware/software/firmware upgrades Implementation of a variety of network technologies Maintain relevant, up-to-date knowledge of Operating Systems, network technologies, design best practices, and support technologies. Extensive knowledge of technology processes and ability to create highly automated workflows for software development and operations; enabling DevOps tools; understanding Cloud infrastructure and container-based infrastructures; configuring continuous integration within a development environment; documenting systems and networks, refining requirements, self-identify solutions and communicating to the team; and managing and analyzing existing processes to identify automation opportunities across multiple platforms and technologies. Job Requirements: Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 2 years of work experience in DevSecOps. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: 1) Automating software deployments, web servers, logging, monitoring, and alerting; 2) TCP/IP and web protocols; 3) Unix and Linux internals especially pertaining to security operations and risks; 4) Agile and Scrum; 5) PowerShell; 6) Cloud infrastructure and container-based infrastructures such as Docker; 7) OpenShift Administering Linux OS to include network and software application configuration; 8) Configuring continuous integration within a development environment using tools such as VSTS, Jenkins, Git; 9) DevOps tools such as Azure, Gitlab, GitHub, SonarQube, Fortify/Veracode, Vault Understanding operations tools (e.g., Splunk,); and 10) Network technologies, including but not limited to: Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Intrusion Detection Systems, WAN Optimization appliances, VPN, Bandwidth aggregation and redundancy, and Voice over IP.
