Lead Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst is a valuable business partner responsible for providing analytical insights and solutions to areas requiring analysis of business and financial activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in conjunction with annual planning, forecasting, ad hoc analysis, project support and post-acquisition integration activities. You will develop strong relationships with business partners. And you will challenge your business partners by helping them stay current on performance, influence with facts and data and help drive disciplined financial outcomes.


 Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, own, and lead the development of strategic plans, annual operating plan, decision modeling, reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Build financial tools and models to help advance the business
  • Operate with key senior executives to support business initiatives and company strategy, such as international expansion and go-to-market (GTM) analysis of total addressable markets (TAM), sales quotas and compensation modeling
  • Prepare and manage the day-to-day inputs for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and management level reporting.
  • Build strong cross functional relationships; effectively convey financial information to business leaders
  • Prepare and analyze new bookings, revenues, expense management, utilization, headcount, and customer churn across global lines of business.
  • Leverage technology to streamline, automate and improve reporting activities through systems such as: NetSuite, Salesforce.com, Adaptive Insights and PowerBI.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions activity, including pre- and post-merger modeling and related integration activities.

Job Requirements:


Education & Experience

  • 6+ years’ experience in financial analysis with strong financial modeling, business analysis, business integration, data mining and FP&A
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, statistics, or related field
  • Experience working for a fast-paced growing company: experience in the technology or healthcare fields is a plus
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to take initiative and be proactive, with the desire to grow and learn
  • Demonstrated track record of taking initiative, being proactive and quickly learning a business
  • Strong interpersonal and communication
  • Excellent analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to accuracy and detail required


Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • NetSuite, Salesforce, Adaptive Insights and Power BI experience a plus
  • Software / SaaS industry experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
