Job Summary:
Provation is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Director of International Business Development to join our growing Corporate Strategy team.  The candidate will report to and work closely with the SVP, Strategy and Product and leadership team and will be responsible for supporting the organization by expanding Provation’s international presence to fuel the ongoing growth of the business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Direct BD efforts to support international strategic growth goals and operating plans and deliver incremental revenue and profit
    • Support and Expand our GTM efforts in APAC, Middle East and Canada
    • Identify and launch GTM efforts in new international markets
  • Conduct market research to identify and prioritize key strategic markets and opportunities for international expansion across the entire Provation portfolio of solutions
  • Define goals and objectives and develop strategies and business plans for each market and country
  • Collaborate across Provation organization to develop and validate business plans while balancing opportunity and required investment
  • Leverage existing Provation partnerships and identify and develop new strategic, distribution, center of excellence and/or acquisition partners to seed and drive growth in each market
  • Manage and maintain partnerships for each international market
  • Develop international network of healthcare IT vendors, luminary healthcare providers, medical societies, government agencies, system integrators and trade groups to support international growth plans
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop GTM plans for each international market
  • Attend and provide support for international tradeshows
  • Understand customer requirements and communicate the value of Provation products
  • Develop, manage and report on international sales opportunity pipeline and manage opportunities through the sales milestone process
  • Lead evaluation and management of inbound international opportunities and RFPs

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare IT, business development and B2B sales
  • Proven experience successfully introducing new software products and services to new international markets

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications

  • Experience collaborating and selling clinical software solutions to clinicians and c-suite stakeholders
  • Experience developing and implementing near term and long-term strategic plans
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication
  • Resourceful self-starter, able to work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work on a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
  • International travel as required
