ProntoPro.it is Italy's largest local service marketplace, now expanding internationally. We help millions of customers to find a local service professional: we cover 400+ services, ranging from wedding photographers to plumbers to guitar teachers. Within a few years, we expect that booking a plumber or a painter online will be as effortless as buying a book. Today that's not the case, and we're out to change it. The opportunity is huge.

We are a fast-growing startup: 2 people in March 2015, now we are over 100. We strive to minimize bull*** and maximize impact: average age is 29, because often brain is more important than experience; we work in open space, because communication needs to happen quickly; everyone has very large responsibilities, because we don't have time to do any handholding (and we think it's counterproductive).

Investors include people from Google, Facebook, eBay, McKinsey, as well as the famous entrepreneurs behind Immobiliare.it. We have the growth-rate of a startup, but not the risk...

We are looking for people who want to help us build a service that everyone will use multiple times a year; a service that will make a difference in society. It's not an easy job.

Job Description

We are looking for a Growth Specialist who will help ProntoPro to bring the suppliers (service professionals) to our platform - bringing it to the next level in Italy while building it from scratch in our international countries. Your entrepreneurship and drive will enable us to develop our strategy and acquire hundreds of thousands of service professionals throughout Europe until the end of 2020.

You will:

   You will help scale ProntoPro's Service Professional Acquisition across 6 countries (Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France and Spain);

   Your metric will be the signups of professionals in our different countries; as we are a platform balancing supply and demand you will work with the SEO and Paid Teams in order to decide how many professionals per industry and region you will need and by when!

   The main channels of acquisition will be email marketing and different paid channels  - but you are clearly not limited to any of those; we want you to develop your own strategy and vision;

     You will automate your work flows and bring AB testing to a next level throughout all channels;

     You will not be alone: you will work closely with a Team of other Growth Hackers and share successes and failures;

   You work on the most critical part of our international expansion and help define our international expansion playbook - you will mainly influence if people will know ProntoPro all over France, Germany or Spain by the end of this year!

 

You:

      You have 1 year of experience in Marketing (alternatively in Finance or Consulting);

     You are itching for real responsibility - to be in a position where you can really make or break the company;

  You are an Excel Ninja (no VLOOKUP but INDEX(MATCH()); seeing #N/A stresses you);

     You worked with or have a solid understanding of SQL and databases;

  You hate bureaucracy and the slowness of big corporations. You experienced it and are depressed at the thought of working there again;

    You are Fluent in English and have a native level in at least one of those languages (Italian/Spanish/French/German);

     You figure things out. You do not expect nor need hand-holding;

     You are smart and a super fast learner - we always prefer a junior person that can learn things over night over slow learners with lots of experience;

     You want to grow by constantly leaving your comfort zone and owning new topics you never worked on before.
