Product Operations Associate

As the Operations and Strategy Associate you will be responsible for leading the design and execution of new solutions or improvements to existing solutions for the company. You will work cross functionally with Operations, Member and Provider Services, Provider Account Management, Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing, Account Management, Sales, Implementation and Engineering. You will also be a source of advisement to each department at Progyny, including leadership, on strategic insight to build future solutions to be scalable and supportable by the current staff and systems.  

What you’ll do... 

  • Lead and collaborate cross functionally with all departments at Progyny to design the operational and technical structure for solutions in accordance with requirements from leadership. 
  • Build newly designed solutions with the appropriate owners, including engineering, by developing detailed requirements and test cases. 
  • Project manage the development and enhancement of a solution by creating a project plan and holding each owner responsible to their task item and due date. This includes identifying risks and mitigation plans when the project plan may not meet the expected deadlines or requirements originally set for the project. 
  • Analyze operational performance of new solutions to determine if they are performing at the standard that is expected. Solution enhancements will require root cause analysis prior to design to identify root causes of operation degradation. 
  • Consult and support our internal teams on operationalization of new solutions and enhancements to current ones. 

About you… 

  • 4+ years of experience in process design, analytics, project management, or product management; preferred in healthcare 
  • Bachelor’s degree; preferred in business administration or analytics  
  • Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills and ability to efficiently work with large volumes of data and pivot tables 
  • Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and inquisitive; natural problem solver 
  • Demonstrated ability to design operational and technical processes to meet the requirements 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage large projects cross functionally 
  • Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with time-management skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to multitask 
  • Must be driven to deliver results with the ability to establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate with others
