Business Operations Associate
Description
As the Business Operations Associate you will be responsible for designing and executing new solutions or improvements to existing solutions for the organization. You will work cross-functionally with Member and Provider Services, Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Account Management, Sales, Client Solutions and Engineering. You will advise each of these departments, including leadership, to build scalable solutions that support our staff and systems.
What you’ll do...
- Consult and support our internal teams on projects to operationalize existing process enhancement and new solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments at Progyny on projects in accordance with requirements from leadership.
- Design and build solutions with the appropriate owner, including engineering, by developing detailed requirements and test cases.
- Create project plans and hold each owner responsible to their task item and due date, including identifying risks and mitigation plans when the project may not meet expected deadlines or requirements.
- Analyze operational performance of projects after execution to measure project success.
- Conduct root cause analyses to systematically determine the source of problems in order to identify appropriate solutions.
About you…
- 2-4 years of experience in process design, analytics, or project management
- Bachelor’s degree; preferred in business/healthcare administration or analytics
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and ability to efficiently work with large volumes of data and pivot tables
- Demonstrated ability to design operational and technical processes to meet business requirements
- Adaptive, curious, and inquisitive, a natural problem solver
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once while prioritizing across competing projects
- Must be a team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse functions, backgrounds, and working styles

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $85,000 - $95,000. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
