Senior Director, Marketing (B2B)

Progyny is looking for a Senior Director of Marketing for our B2B sales team, reporting to the VP of Marketing for sales. This position will be responsible for planning, development, and implementation of marketing activities to support the company's direct sales teams and channel partnerships.  

The ideal candidate has experience in the employer benefits space, creating, launching and monitoring campaigns that educate, drive awareness and build interest for Progyny’s comprehensive fertility and family benefits solution.   

What you'll do... 

  • Work closely with VP of Marketing to create B2B go-to-market strategy and drive all aspects of product positioning 
  • Own development of all marketing collateral for our B2B audiences in the US and Canada 
  • Lead sales enablement activities; develop and maintain materials needed for the sales cycle, such as PowerPoint decks and slides, one pagers, brochures, digital leave behinds, etc.  
  • Direct and manage content creation, including drafting content and working with content managers and freelancers to meet content needs 
  • Work closely with demand generation team on content marketing strategy including ideation, development and distribution strategy of articles, blogs, whitepapers, toolkits, guides, etc.  
  • Create event presentations and speaking engagement narratives to ensure that Progyny is amplifying its message and leadership in the benefits space 
  • Complete, manage and edit requests for proposals 
  • Work collaboratively with sales leadership on all sales team development & training 
  • Coordinate and manage ongoing sales needs and requests, gathering feedback and refining messages and materials to help promote Progyny to target audiences  
  • Monitor industry and competitor landscape and work with growing sales team to gather feedback and continuously refine messaging and competitive differentiation 
  • Support product management as we define and grow into new verticals, geographies, and business lines   

About you... 

  • 8+ years of experience, healthcare benefits experience preferred 
  • Expertise in creating effective B2B sales enablement tools and marketing campaigns for HR/benefits buyers and benefits consultants 
  • Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of complex marketing/sales initiatives with limited guidance 
  • Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Must be able to develop strong cross functional relationships and be able to effectively communicate to both internal and external partners in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong project management skills, able to drive creative and technical aspects 
  • Demonstrated experience with marketing automation tools and CRMs (Salesforce, Pardot, Marketing Cloud)

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $160,000 - $175,000. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
