The Sr. Product Designer will lead the design of new features and new development related to Progyny’s digital roadmap. This role is a “hands on”, collaborative role that will be working not only across the web and mobile development teams but also various business stakeholders (e.g., Member Services, Product, Marketing, Program Management etc.) in an iterative, agile fashion.  

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and experienced with not only design but also with user experience research. They must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to collaborate with diverse subject matter experts.  

  
What you'll do...  

• Oversees all aspects of design for new digital products and features by creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile interfaces 
• Ensure consistency of user experience across current and future offerings 
• Promote core design principles, design thinking and user experience best practices in all feature and product creation 
• Collaborates with product and engineering teams in an agile/scrum environment on all new development; supports creation of design tickets; reviews product implementations to ensure development aligns with design expectations 
• Maintain and evolve the digital product style guides and design libraries 
• Proactively raise ideas and proposes designs as part of a continuous goal of elevating the Progyny digital experience 
• Interview stakeholders and users to understand goals and preferences for features and present to them for feedback 
• Apply appropriate metrics and customer insight to the creative process 
• Responsible for staying current with new UX developments and techniques 
• Test applications for usability and accessibility, in partnership with stakeholders and users 

About You... 

• 3-5+ years of experience in digital product environment 
• Experience in digital health product design and user research for mobile and web 
• Expert level with range of wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, Sketch, etc.) 
• Strong understanding of agile workflows, systems and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, etc.) 
• Excellent project management skills, taking ownership to prioritize projects and ensure deliverables are completed on time 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently 
• Data driven and highly analytical

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary range for NYC-based applicants is: $140,000 - $150,000. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
