Senior Manager, Market Intelligence

The Market Intelligence manager has accountability for a broad range of functions that support Progyny’s understanding of the women’s reproductive health, fertility, and family building markets.  This role will be expected to deliver actionable insights by researching the trends in consumer behavior that are affecting the broader market, as well as the providers who participate in markets and areas that are of interest to the company.  This role will have high visibility across the organization, as well as an opportunity to broaden the function to include support of the company’s investor relations/financial communications functions.

What you'll be doing...

  • Creating and maintaining a resource library of material, including SWOT decks and battle cards, that can be used effectively by sales and marketing personnel to enhance their understanding of the key differentiators between Progyny and its competitors
  • Collecting data on the various products, services, marketing campaigns, pricing strategies and hiring priorities for multiple market participants
  • Assisting in the training and delivery of competitive assets to market-facing teams
  • Developing recommendations for improving products, services and/or features based on research findings
  • Monitoring industry research that is published to identify emerging trends that are relevant to Progyny’s business
  • Participating in the development of messaging that best represents Progyny’s position as the leading benefits management company in fertility and family building solution
  • Reviewing a broader set of healthcare peers to identify trends in their financial and social responsibility reporting and related best practices, providing benchmarks for how Progyny can enhance its own communications to key constituencies
  • Contributing to the company’s activities with the investment community, such as assisting in the development of materials for quarterly reporting and responding to investor questions

About you...

  • 3 to 5 years as a market analyst, competitive intelligence analyst, product manager, or equity analyst
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively by working on several projects simultaneously
  • A high attention to both detail and accuracy in their work products
  • The ability to participate in a fast-paced work environment, as well as a willingness to contribute in areas that fall outside of their core responsibilities
  • Prior experience in healthcare a plus, but not necessary

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary range for NYC-based applicants is: $90,000 - $110,000. Progyny's total compensation package consists of: base salary, cash bonus and equity.
