Description

The Investor Relations Manager has accountability for a broad range of functions that support Progyny’s communications with the investment community.  By building an in-depth knowledge of Progyny’s solutions, competitive differentiation, addressable market, operational functions, and financial results, the IR Manager has high visibility within the organization, and opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of the company’s communications.


What you'll be doing...

  • Supporting the quarterly earnings reporting process, conducting research to understand the relevant drivers to the financial results, and assisting with drafting the press release, script, regulatory filings and Q&A
  • Performing market intelligence, monitoring the research published about Progyny and the broader industry to identify areas where we can improve the investment community’s understanding of the business
  • Participating in the development of messaging that best represents Progyny’s position as the leading benefits management company in fertility and family building solution
  • Responding to inbound investor inquiries
  • Identifying prospective investors by analyzing the shareholder bases for both Progyny and relevant peers
  • Supporting the planning and execution of industry conferences and events, on-site meetings and roadshows, including the preparation of briefing materials and managing logistic details
  • Assisting in research pertaining to the field of ESG, including the various frameworks and reporting standards, and contributing to the content published in Progyny’s Corporate Sustainability Report
  • Reviewing relevant peers to identify trends in reporting and other best practices, and providing recommendations for ways that Progyny can enhance its communications accordingly
  • Contributing to the maintenance of the IR section of the corporate website

About you...

  • 2 to 3 years as an investor relations analyst, financial analyst (including FP&A), or equity analyst
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
  • A strong understanding of financial statements and accounting policies
  • The ability to multitask effectively by working on several projects simultaneously
  • A high attention to both detail and accuracy in their work products
  • The ability to participate in a fast-paced work environment, as well as a willingness to contribute in areas that fall outside of their core responsibilities
  • Prior experience in healthcare a plus, but not necessary
