Principal Legal Operations Administrator
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the legal operations lead for PFS, working closely with the General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer to support management and oversight of all subsidiary governance, compliance, and risk management processes.
- Develop, implement, and refine legal and operational policies that align with federal contracting requirements, corporate governance best practices, and business objectives.
- Optimize PFS contract lifecycle management (CLM) and other business processes, ensuring efficient tracking, negotiation, and execution of PFS contracts and subcontracts in alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Manage internal legal and compliance systems and processes, including document retention, policy updates, and reporting workflows.
- Work cross-functionally with Progress and PFS finance, HR, security, and operations teams to ensure legal and regulatory alignment across all aspects of the subsidiary’s operations.
- Support regulatory audits, contract compliance reviews, and reporting obligations under federal contracting laws and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Assist with various PFS corporate secretarial tasks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business teams, providing guidance on risk mitigation, compliance best practices, and contractual obligations.
Your background:
- Degree or certification in business, legal studies, or a related field preferred
- 4+ years of experience in legal operations or project management, with a strong understanding of contract management, legal technology, and vendor management
- Proven and demonstrable ability to implement and improve legal and compliance processes, policies, and systems.
- Understanding of and/or experience with federal contracting regulations, subsidiary governance, and legal operations best practices.
- Experience in legal operations within a government contracting environment, preferably in the software or technology industry.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Prior experience managing contract workflows, compliance programs, and subsidiary governance matters.
