Senior Manager, AI Agent Tools

As we advance our vision for the next generation of AI-powered DevTools, we’re hiring an engineering leader to drive the Agent Observability Platform. This role will accelerate execution, guide strategic shifts, and partner closely with Product, UX, and our Fiddler team. It also offers the opportunity to shape hiring, technical direction, and product strategy together.
In this role you will:
- Partner with other functions on product strategy and roadmap for observability/AI-driven developer tooling
- Lead 2 teams, including hiring, coaching, performance, and career growth
- Work on launching and scaling products/features that drive adoption, retention, and revenue; set and track OKRs/KPIs
- Bridge product and engineering with clear technical judgment; guide architecture/quality trade-offs
- Partner with PM, Sales, Marketing, and Support on pricing, packaging, GTM, and product positioning
- Use customer insight and data to prioritize, validate, and iterate quickly in fast-paced environments
- Influence executive and cross-functional stakeholders; align teams around a clear vision and outcomes
- Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous delivery
Your background:
- 5+ years in people management with direct experience in engineering, product management for enterprise software, developer tools, or cloud platforms
- Proven track record launching and scaling software products in high-growth settings
- Strong technical foundation (e.g., led product launches, founded a startup, or built greenfield initiatives)
- Deep understanding of observability practices (monitoring, logging, distributed tracing) and modern cloud tech
- Experience with AI/ML or AIOps (bonus: LLM monitoring/evaluation, frameworks like LangChain, open-source tooling)
- Skilled at leading and mentoring teams; capable of managing managers and multiple cross-functional initiatives
- Business acumen across market research, pricing, business cases, and GTM execution
- Excellent communication—able to simplify complex concepts for execs, customers, and engineers
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a history of finding product-market fit in developer tooling
