Prodege is recruiting a Head of B2B Marketing who will direct all efforts related to corporate branding, sales support, product marketing, digital marketing & marketing automation, advertising, events, research, with the long-term goal of developing and executing programs that acquire and retain enterprise customers.

 The role requires that this executive will build upon the current road map, set goals and objectives for all marketing efforts, manage a high-impact team and continue to achieve aggressive revenue, business, and financial growth goals. They will continually evaluate and confirm Prodege’s market position, product messaging, sales channel, and marketing strategy.

 This is a hands-on role, and it's paramount that the executive be very resourceful, and knows how to accomplish goals with ingenuity as well as budget.

Highlights of the job….

  • Corporate Branding: Prodege has business units that operate in distinct categories – data + insights, shopper marketing, performance marketing & commerce marketing. It's critical to continue to build upon the brand strategy for each of these units while additionally exploring avenues for awareness of the overall Prodege name.
  • Sales Support. Work closely with the sales leadership to develop comprehensive communication strategies to maximize client engagement, shorten the sales cycle, and adoption of existing products and services. Support the sales team with appropriate messaging, positioning, and sales tools including white papers, presentations, keynotes, and collateral materials.
  • Marketing & Revenue Operations: Continue to define and shape the growing B2B marketing organization through the use of an evolving tech stack, ensuring tracking, reporting and success on integrated marketing campaign efforts. Success will include a partnership with Sales & Operations to define best practices and measurement output. 
  • Budgeting. Be held accountable for forecasting, planning, and budgeting. This includes determining priorities, allocating resources, and developing internal tools, policies, and processes.
  • Product Marketing. Oversight and coordinate marketing with current and future Prodege products ranging from development stage (branding, pricing, beta) to launch (media, sales support, collateral), and ultimately lifecycle management.
  • Manage the events/industry Events and industry groups are an important part of the overall Prodege marketing strategy. Oversee and continue to define all KPIs – cost, productivity, attendance, sponsorship alignment, venues, and content. Prodege has a creative and cost-effective history of great impact events and client entertainment.
  • Speaking / external visibility. Identify speaking and presentation opportunities (tradeshow, industry events, and media outlets). Create the content, prep executive team members, and ensure a consistent and effective voice of Prodege reaches the market. 
  • Build upon and refine content and email strategy. Provide oversight and develop on visually crisp and easy-to-understand marketing content – press releases, blogs, emails, videos, sales kits, webinars & landing pages – that will illuminate these experiences to customers.
  • Website / Blog : Own the corporate website & blog regularly adding information, feature/benefits, integration info, news, and sales collateral.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Support the productive output of the CRM system as well as other reporting tools within the Prodege arsenal. The goal is to measure key metrics in real-time while providing monthly, quarterly, and annual trends.  This includes reports for key initiatives, category and industry progress, field productivity, and customer analysis.
  • Develop tracking systems / employ marketing automation tools. The executive will develop methods to track and evaluate the performance of the marketing campaigns & lead scoring. This includes data collection, real time interpretation of results, best practices and processes, and scalable systems. The executive will leverage marketing automation to streamline marketing processes and improve performance.
  • While not a core concern, social needs to be managed. Oversee Prodege’s presence as a B2B brand across all channels.
  • Define the competitive marketplace. The executive will be part of developing a corporate understanding of Prodege’s business risks, competitive landscape, and industry-wide (or niche) opportunities and contribute to the executive conversations pertaining to the direction and strategy of the Company.
  • Analytical Approach. The candidate will have the responsibility to set an analytical environment of data capture and interpretation. This comes from a thorough testing approach to identify the most effective messaging of services/products and price points for different customers and stages in their lifecycle. The strategy includes customer segmentation, understanding the needs of each segment, application of current & future Prodege products to each segment, and movement of the customers through the life cycle (new business to repeat customer).
  • Manage external resources. Select and manage vendors and contractors across multiple disciplines including website developers, graphic design, public relations, advertising, freelance writers, tradeshow partners, etc.
  • Oversee intellectual property. Management of trademarks, websites, and liaison with the legal team when necessary.
  • Internal Communications. Support the messaging to employees in coordination with human resources and the senior executive team. This includes material development, training, information distribution, corporate goals and employee surveys.
  • Leadership / Team. As the leader of the B2B marketing department, the executive will have the responsibility to recruit and retain an extraordinary team and contribute to the overall culture of the company. As an executive at Prodege, the expectation is to set the brand standard – inside and out with respect to brand identity, culture, work ethic, professionalism, and corporate team engagement.


  • Must be based in Prodege’s office in Los Angeles (El Segundo, near LAX).
  • 10+ years of B2B / enterprise experience working with industry-disrupting companies.
  • Experience at a fast-growing company, ideally PE/VC backed.
  • Experience supporting a sales and customer success team working with enterprise customers.
  • Experience using BI tools and dashboards to create reporting to track the business and inform strategy.
  • Management of customer database, segmentation, and transformation of data into actionable insights.
  • Email marketing expertise: deliverability, segmentation, triggers, lifecycles.
  • Experience developing marketing training programs that address common objections, industry trends, and the development needs of the sales and marketing teams.
  • Experience driving the adoption of emerging platforms into target segments – market research, consumer insights, shopper and performance marketing
  • Personality profile to fit into a high-growth, entrepreneurial culture that requires teamwork and significant interaction with employees at all levels.
  • Data and metrics driven with experience analyzing markets and trends, anticipating and identifying opportunities, and developing insight at a strategic level.
  • EDUCATION: Undergraduate degree is required; MBA is desired.
