We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance and Accounting team.  The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage daily posting of cash receipts as well as processing and revising invoices.

 Additionally, this position will:

  • Maintain customer information in our billing system
  • Generate and send invoices
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and invoice issues
  • Communicate with customers via phone and/or email
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Verify deposits and post to customer accounts
  • Assist the Sr. A/R Specialist and Accounting Manager in monthly reconciliation of revenue accounts and other month-end close duties

 Skills and experience required:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or relevant Accounting role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting a plus
  • Must have working knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of NetSuite a plus
  • General knowledge of accounting and understanding of general ledger accounts within the accounts receivable setting
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to multitask, set daily priorities and adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate with the sales team and customers
