Senior Brand Manager

THE ROLE:
ProbablyMonsters is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to own the global brand and go-to-market strategy for one of our game titles. This role is responsible for how the game shows up in the world—from early positioning through launch and into ongoing growth. You will serve as the central connector between game development, creative services, publishing, and external partners—translating the vision of the game into a clear, compelling, and consistent player-facing brand. You will lead integrated marketing strategy and execution across all channels, while also being accountable for budgets, performance, and delivering against sales and revenue targets. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates with autonomy, and is accountable for outcomes—not just output.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Own the Brand & Positioning
- Define and own the brand identity, positioning, and voice for the title
- Translate game vision, features, and player experience into a clear and compelling market narrative
- Develop player segmentation, personas, and audience strategy
- Ensure consistency and quality of the brand across all consumer touchpoints
Lead Go-To-Market & Campaign Strategy
- Build and execute the global go-to-market strategy from early development through launch
- Develop integrated marketing plans across PR, social, community, web, CRM, events, and paid media
- Partner with creative teams to lead development of trailers, key art, messaging, and campaign assets
- Drive campaign execution across owned, earned, and paid channels
Drive Cross-Functional & Partner Alignment
- Partner closely with game development teams to align product direction with player and market insights
- Collaborate with publishing and platform partners (PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, Epic) to maximize reach and impact
- Lead coordination across PR, community, social, and creative services to deliver cohesive campaigns
- Manage external agencies across creative, media, social, and research
- Serve as a key representative for the product with internal and external stakeholders
Own Performance, Budgets & Growth
- Own the marketing budget for the title, including planning, allocation, and performance management
- Define success metrics and ensure campaigns deliver against player acquisition, engagement, and revenue goals
- Track performance against KPIs and optimize in real time
- Contribute to business planning including forecasts, pricing strategy, and lifecycle recommendations
- Analyze player behavior, campaign performance, and market trends to refine strategy
- Feed player insights back into development and publishing teams to inform product decisions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6–10+ years of brand or product marketing experience in the video game or interactive entertainment industry
- Proven experience leading global go-to-market strategy for at least one shipped title on PC and console
- Strong track record of building and executing integrated marketing campaigns
- Experience working closely with game development teams and influencing product direction
- Experience owning or directly managing marketing budgets and performance outcomes
- Deep understanding of player segmentation, positioning, and audience development Experience managing external agencies and cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with media planning, channel strategy, and campaign measurement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level influence
- Deep knowledge of PC and console gaming ecosystems and player behavior
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience launching new IP
- Background in consumer insights, analytics, or player research
- Experience working with global markets and international publishing partners
- Understanding of digital storefronts and platform ecosystems
- MBA or advanced degree

Compensation:
- This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt (salaried) position.
- The full salary range for this position is $117,000 - $177,000 per year. When an offer is made, many factors are considered, such as your unique experience and skills, where you live, where the work will be performed, what similar jobs pay, and internal equity.
- In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for additional incentives, such as short- and long-term incentives. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
