As a Compliance Reviewer, you are the first point of contact with agents and insureds to obtain the needed information and documentation to complete the review process.

This position is a remote, work from home position 

Position Summary: Consults with the Agent and Insured to obtain the needed information and documentation to complete the review process. Requires a thorough understanding of insurance policies, adjusting practices, basic crop and special provisions, and loss methodologies. Requires a high degree of physical ability such as climbing grain bins, walking over rough terrain for long distances, etc.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

Works with Insured and Insureds agent to obtain the needed information and documentation to complete the review process.

Consults with the Compliance Supervisor on procedural issues during the review process.

Provide excellent customer service and adhere to ProAg communication strategies for conducting daily business professionally (Includes both Internal and External customers).

Coordinates with adjusting staff regarding conflict of interest (COI), growing season inspections (GSI), and high-dollar reviews required as to minimize review completion time.

Alert adjusting staff to claims reviews in process.

Scan appropriate review documentation into the Quality Control module.

Qualifications required:

  • High school diploma; 
  • Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
  • Proficient in basic computer and internet applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work from home
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees and customers
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations 
  • Ability to conduct daily duties in a professional appearance and manner
  • Ability to learn ProAg proprietary compliance systems
  • Excellent customer service skills

Qualifications desired

  • 4 year Bachelors in Ag 
  • Crop insurance experience in claims or compliance is preferred
  • Experience with all MPCI, Crop Hail, and Federal Crop rules and regulations
  • Ag Related experience and background
  • Current Claim Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) certification and any applicable license preferred
