This is a remote position with up to 10% of time spent traveling.

ProAg has an exciting opportunity for a Crop Insurance Regulatory Product Owner to join our team. You will look for new ways to disrupt the status quo, go to market faster, and optimize customer experiences for agents and policyholders of ProAg. You will be at the forefront of our mission to create a more seamless and cohesive experience for our users making buying, selling, and servicing crop insurance easy.


In This Exciting Opportunity You Will:

  • Product Development - Collaborate with IT, project management, and product owners during the development of products and processes to ensure they align with federal regulations and business goals.
  • Regulatory Expertise - Be responsible for understanding and interpreting all Risk Management Agency (RMA) and National Crop Insurance Service (NCIS) changes. This includes identifying application changes, business changes, and policy language changes which will affect business processes and customer workflows.
  • Innovation - Within three months you will be able to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to problems for our work processes and product enhancements.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Crop insurance industry experience required.
  • Education - Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, IT, or a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Industry Knowledge - industry changes, legal updates, working knowledge of crop lifecycle, all system interfaces. Ability to anticipate downstream effects to all customer segments and employees when changes are made.
  • Communication - Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
