We’re looking for: Pre-Sales Engineers to continue to build a proactive, customer facing organization that ensures our customers are getting the maximum value from our solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Driving  an engagement model to ensure that customers are blown away by the quality of our account team.
  • Ensuring successful delivery of POCs and guided technical validation efforts.
  • Identifying revenue prospects and opportunities and partnering with Sales, Customer Success, Product and Engineering to align customer's vision with our current solutions/ roadmap.
  • Being intrinsically curious and passionate about researching current and emerging technologies and developing innovative solutions.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Supporting sales teams on all sales activities including needs analysis, data review, product demonstrations and other general sales support.
  • Being hands-on and not afraid to bring ideas and best practices forward to better the performance of the team and the sales process.
  • Integral to closing business with accounts of all sizes, and developing relationships with key customers.

Your experience should include:  

  • 5+ years as a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant with a demonstrated track record of success including both transactional sales and strategic selling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/computer science or equivalent experience, Advanced degree a plus.
  • Communicate the voice of the customer to R&D leadership, driving product development prioritization and roadmap – Liaison on specific technical projects to customers.
  • Provide guidance to revenue leaders on sales strategy, product obstacles/gaps and overall customer needs.
  • Experience and understanding of multiple technical domains - cloud infrastructure, analytics, security, governance and integration.
  • As required work with a team to develop customer-facing collateral (e.g., presentations, demos, proposals, solution designs).
  • Excellent prioritization, organizational and project management skills
  • Collaboratively and objectively assessed benefits, costs, and viability of proposed solution options develop creative solutions and drive alignment.
  • Ability to leverage business knowledge, sound judgment, and resourcefulness to determine an appropriate course of action in challenging, ambiguous situations.
  • Experience in high growth venture backed startup companies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
