We’re looking for: a Technical Architect at Privacera, you will be an organizational leader and a solution architect responsible for the design of a customer’s onboarding and continued adoption of Privacera’s solutions. You will be a trusted advisor helping our customers successfully design and implement their cloud strategy, and security and governance blocks using our products. You would need to have a deep understanding of cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Amazon EMR, Starburst as well as security paradigms such as IAM, ABAC, RBAC. 


Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Providing technical leadership in a pre-sales and post-sales capacity for customers to support successful understanding, evaluation and adoption of Privacera solution. 
  • Consulting on architecture and design, bootstrap, and/or implementing strategic customer projects. 
  • Helping configure, install Privacera solutions in different environments in the customer.
  • Building  references architectures, how-tos, and demo applications for customer
  • Providing an escalated level of support for critical customer operational issues. 
  • Providing inputs to product management and engineering on product gaps and improvement that can help the customers in the long run. 
  • Evangelize Privacera Ranger and Discovery based solutions across the developer community through meetups and conferences. 
  • Traveling to Customers .
  • Demonstrated ability to work with the technology teams of new clients while delivering significant revenue impact.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • 10+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or no degree and the equivalent of 15+ years’ experience 
  • 5+ years experience in either systems architecture, or software architecture positions 
  • Expert level debugging experience 
  • Ability to architect/design/debug cloud solutions 
  • Ability to architect/design/debug software using either Java, Python, or Scala Outstanding verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent presentation skills 
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hive
  • Experience with public cloud infrastructure and data solutions, specifically AWS EMR, AWS Redshift, AWS S3, Azure ADLS, Databricks, Snowflake, Starburst 
  • Ability to design and architect distributed data systems 
  • Experience with Big Data Technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and StormAdvanced level knowledge of cloud networking, cloud adoption challenges, from an enterprise lens
