We’re looking for: A dynamic Senior HR Manager to join our small but mighty HR team. The successful candidate will hit the ground running to support our US and India operations and ensure that all human resources operations are strengthened and timely executed. The Senior Generalist Manager provides guidance to people managers and employees throughout the US and India.

Your responsibilities will include:  

Under the supervision of the HR Director, this role will focus on HR duties related to employee engagement, performance management, human resources policy, employee record keeping, benefits, HRIS administration, legal compliance and reporting, disability and leave management and special projects. This includes setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally-compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing process improvements. This role is an integral part of supporting diverse, comprehensive people programs, which entails strong relationship development.

  Performance Management

  • Assist in the management and execution of bonus plans, merit processes, and routine/special request requests

Training and Development

  • Create and own manager training modules (Individual Development Plan, Effective Leadership)


  • Perform audit and compliance functions as requested on items such as audit reports
  • verification, commission reports and payroll information
  • Track compliance for Anti Harassment training and Information Security Policies
  •  Assist in the formulation of objectives for policies and procedures
  • Assure company policies are administered fairly and consistently
  •  Effectively communicate and execute necessary changes to policies and procedures
  • Maintain employee records in compliance with state and federal requirements


  • Be an integral part of new benefits evaluations process
  • Conduct open enrollment and other benefits related programs as needed


  •  Assist with new systems implementation (HRIS) and/or other platforms
  • Documents work procedures and policies. Administers HRIS and responsible for employee record keeping.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entries to the HRIS database

Your experience should include: 

  •  10+ years of strong experience in total rewards (compensation, benefits and equity), compliance, HR systems and analytics, and employee relations.
  • Experience with software engineering teams preferred
  • Global experience a plus
  • Experience leading teams in a fast growing technology space. Bonus if you've been part of the hyper-growth startup world
  • Ability to be strategic and manage and develop new HR programs
  • Must be local to San Francisco/ Bay Area
