We are looking for a passionate senior software development engineer to design, develop and install connectors that help in managing enterprise data security needs. These connectors will help bring in more enterprise integrations with our core product that will help to address the challenges faced in the areas of data governance, data security and compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with  team and help Design and engineer the Connectors for the various third party data sources and data platforms / products (databases, file systems & BI Platforms)
• Define and document project layout and structure
• Evaluate, choose, implement technical solutions to meet product and engineering requirements.
• Set coding standards, rules, and guidelines for the product engineering team.
• Assist product and quality engineering teams with diagnostics and problem analysis.
• Work closely with engineering teams to transfer knowledge and incorporate feedback into the Connectors design for continuous improvement.
• Work closely with the architecture team to ensure the Connectors architecture meets the needs of the application and help evolve the application architecture to address Connectors concerns.
• Provide mentorship for other team members.
• Participating in code reviews
• Maintain technical documentation on the installations and configurations.
• Represent Privacera in interactions with customers, partner, or vendor discussions where technical insights into the Privacera Connectors are required
• Create high level designs 

Your experience should include:

• B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering or MCA or equivalent 
• Work experience of more than 8 years in  relevant software development experience
• Sound experience in core Java (ver 8 and above)
• Work experience networking security, firewalls, proxies, and routing
• Strong knowledge of software development patterns and practices.
• Rounded architecture experience including some or all of program/project design and management, evolution, and security.
• Expertise in SQL & working experience with any Relational Databases e.g. (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms for API integrations
• Excellent communication skills and interact effectively with internal and external resources.
• Work experience in cloud native applications/services on AWS/GCP/Azure
• Work experience with cloud data warehouses like Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, Bigquery
• Good to have exposure to Docker/Kubernetes based deployment
• Good to have experience with connector development
